A Quick Update
So, three weeks before the production deadline for my next book, LOVE SAVES THE DAY, I decided that I hated the whole thing and wanted to start again. From scratch. Three weeks before it has to go the printer. Because I AM AN ENTIRELY SANE PERSON! ;-) That's why I've been out of touch and so spare on the updates.
Now Laurence and I are going overseas for a brief family reunion that we've been planning for two years, so once again I'm going to be offline for the next week or so. So here are some quick updates on the happenings in the Cooper-Lerman household.
- Clayton's surgery went great! He's up and around, cheerful and loving as ever, and completely healed. Fanny is THRILLED to be reunited with her brother! Our favorite pet sitter will be looking after everybody while we're gone.
- Homer is great too! His new obsession is Da Bird (which he never cared about until the kittens started having so much fun with it). He's still not really down for playing with the kittens, but so long as they leave him alone, he's willing to leave them alone. More on that (funny stories and pictures) when I'm back in town.
- MY NEXT BOOK IS DONE! WOO-HOO!!!!!
- I won't be online very much while we're traveling, so I'll respond to emails and comments once I'm back. Forgive me for having been sooooooooo bad about doing that these last three weeks!

Congrats on the book being done!! Yay!!! Would stink to have to go on a trip with "homework" in tow.
